Nino’s Restaurante Pizzeria (3 pm May 26th 2014).(1190 Grinzing Wien). Summary: Positives: Food, location, ambiance. Negatives: none. Decor/Ambiance/Service. Positives: Attractive restaurant with an open air seating area for the warmer weather. Ambiance was relaxed. Waitress professional well dressed and when engaged polite and helpful.Food: Since we came across Nino’s by chance in the early afternoon we were able to take advantage of their daytime offer which was any pizza for 5.90 euros. We’re not big eaters and went for a single pizza between us and a half liter of beer (3.30 euros) for me. There was no stress over ordering a single pizza for 2. We chose the ‘Ninos’Pizza (Tomato, Mozzarella, Prosciutto ham, rocket and Grana cheese; a classic combo so not unique to Nino’s) because having given their name to it we made the assumption they were proud to serve it. The pizza base was very good and overall the pizza was fresh, clean and good value at 5.90 euro’s. The only slight negative for me was that the topping was a little on the sparse side (for all ingredients except the Rocket which was fresh, tasty and abundant). I would have preferred a little more of everything and that the topping ran much closer to the pizza edge. However, for 5.90 euros it was tasty and good value. At it’s peak time price of 9.90 I would have been disappointed. I didn't have my camera so cannot share a photograph of the pizza, but it was well presented.Gratuity: No pressure at any point from the Waitress who was unobtrusive, professional...
Read moreNino’s offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a relaxed evening out. Known for its Italian-inspired cuisine, the menu features a variety of classic dishes, including pasta, pizzas, and fresh salads. The pizza stands out for its thin, crispy crust and generous toppings, crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
The service is attentive and friendly, with staff eager to accommodate requests and provide recommendations. The restaurant’s ambiance is warm, with a charming mix of traditional decor and modern touches, suitable for both family gatherings and romantic dinners.
However, during peak hours, the wait times can be a bit longer, and reservations are recommended to secure a table. Prices are reasonable, offering good value for the quality of food and experience.
Overall, Nino’s is a great choice for Italian cuisine lovers looking for authentic flavors in the heart of Vienna. Highly recommended for a relaxed dining experience with great food and service. PS: Nemo escaped the Haus de Meere and went there. Go and...
Read moreWe were really lucky to discover this place located in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood of Vienna. Possibly the best Italian I had in a very long time and a great atmosphere. Everything we had was exquisite, simple, yet rich in flavours and good sized portions. I cannot recommend this place enough and simply no words would do it justice, I can’t even recommend a certain dish because everything we had in the three days that we dined here was simply delicious. From the ordinary focaccia that was flavourful and crispy to the beef that was to die for. There is a huge selection of everything here, no one could ever walk out disappointed. Pasta was great, pizza was great, drinks were amazing! Tiramisu was a dream and I really look forward to going back to Vienna. Oh, and did I mention that the service is great and prices incredibly reasonable? It’s really been a great experience, the kind that make you dream to go...
