Rude staff. Normal pizza, that came with a hair as a bonus.
After a couple of minutes inside Riva, without any staff approaching us, and seeing many empty places, we've decided to approach a table. Literally as we got there, a waitress arrived almost running and asked us what we were doing. After we said we just wanted a table, she started saying rude comments and turned her back against us. I believe it was because we did not make a reservation (or maybe because she hates her job?) A few minutes later, already at the table, the bossy waitress came again in a bad mood, putting the tableware in a very noisy and rather rude way... We felt as if we were disturbing them, all the time. And when the pizza arrived... it was nothing special, with some heavy and sort of rubbery dough. Oh, and it had a HAIR as a bonus in the middle of the cheese. I did not want to face the diabolic waitress, so I just ate around the hair and I will never go back there again. Go to Pizza Mari! Read moreThis pizzeria is not comparable with other pizzerias in near location. The taste, the crunchy, but fluffy edge, the woody flavour from the real wood in the oven, the serving, were all on high level, they could be the benchmark for all of the pizzerias around. The servers are also professionals, they give you an advice, what to try, which is the best seller etc. They are the only AVPN certified pizzeria in Wien, which is the highest certificate which could be granted to a pizzeria. Like the Michelin stars to a restaurant. I've traveled to Wien and waited till they open at 17:30, just to try their pizza. And it was totally worth it. The pizzaiolo shoved me, that they are using real authentic ingrediences imported from italy, furthermore the chef himself is imported from italy Neapol 😄. Greetings, from Bratislava, you should open one...

I was here about 2hrs ago for a pizza I was told it is the best in Vienna. Not really, I have to say. The dough, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese were good, the ham was too watery and, attention "fresh ingredients", I have ordered extra porcini mushrooms and expected them to be fresh. They came from a can instead, EXTREMELY watery and very soft (they looked like giant boogers) definitely not edible. The basil on top was not fresh either. I was very dissappointed. This place is...
