Location and atmosphere were very good in this cosy/hipsterish corner location in Yppenplatz. Decor inside was warm and inviting, and all the staff were friendly and hospitable. The food, however, was below expectations. I tried their Somalian hilib lo'aad with fried corn cakes and it all needed a little more salt, and the sauce needed a punch of flavor - anything chili or pepper, or more fresh red onions. Ich kann mich leider den durchwegs positiven Bewertungen nicht anschließen.. wir kamen mit hohen Erwartungen die leider bis auf die Getränke nicht erfüllt wurden! Ich hatte für 4 Personen reserviert und beim Ankommen wurde mir vom Kellner mitgeteilt dass ich nur für 2 Personen reserviert hätte (er stand angeblich neben dem Chef als dieser mit mir telefonierte) somit wurde mir dir Schuld zugewiesen Punkt 1 geht garnicht!! Die Uhrzeit am "reserviert" Schild stimmte btw auch nicht.. Wir bestellten 3mal das daldal welches nach kurzer Zeit mit dem (von der netten aber leicht verwirrt wirkenden Kellnerin) Satz "Ihre Suppe" gebracht wurde. So Unrecht hatte sie damit leider nicht - es war ein farblos und nach nichts schmeckender Brei wo man die in der Speisekarte verlockend angepriesenen Zutaten suchen musste.. und das für 14€ dazu ein "gemischter" Salat der aus blattsalat mit rotem Zwiebel und 2 Tomaten bestand.. die vierte Person bestellte ein Gericht mit Huhn um etwa den gleichen Preis welches ganz ok schmeckte von der portionsgröße her aber eher einer Vorspeise glich -leider kann ich mich wie gesagt den positiven Bewertungen überhaut nicht anschließen wir werden dem Lokal allerdings nochmal eine Chance geben weil die Getränkeauswahl und deren Preise...
