Swing Kitchen — Restaurant in Vienna

Super friendly staff. I went there yesterday and they messed up my pickup order, they gave my daughter a chili burger instead of a Vienna burger. She's 5, she couldn't eat it. It's delicious but oh so spicy.

Since I only found out after coming home and had to travel back (45 min going there and 45 min back) they cooked me a new burger, gave me extras for free as an apology and replaced my other burger so I wouldn't have to eat a cold one. All for free. Without fuss or annoyance. They even smiled! (A rarity in Vienna)

I was broke that evening (day before paycheck) and would have had to eat cold food, traveling a total of 4 * 45 min but they were so nice and saved the evening for us. I hadn't slept much that night and worked 12h shift, that was actually my first meal of the day.

I've been to swing kitchen well over 50 times so far. This was the first time they messed up; it happens and what they did about it is what matters.

As mentioned, I have to travel 45 min to get there, 45 min back - we have to warm the food up at home when we order there, it involves a travel by subway and city train and some walking, but we do it anyway: that's how good the food there is.

Awesome staff and awesome food!

Btw: they let me keep the wrong order so that I could hand it out to someone in need instead of throwing it.

Walked into this place after missing the tram and it‘s raining outside... service at the counter was friendly, the place has a welcoming atmosphere. Ordered a swing burger menu at €8,90 (burger, lemonade 0,3l, sweet potato fries. The burger looks good and taste really good too! Nice bun, crispy veggi, tomatoes etc and the soya patty has a nice texture. The burger is juicy with sauce but not overwhelmingly dripping! The fries taste good and healthy at the same time (may be illusional but I‘m happy:)) The lemonade is yummy and not too sweet. Really guys, it is something I would make for myself at home except someone made it!!! No WiFi here, maybe it is a good thing, because these cosy bench seats are a great place for chatting with the person you came here with instead of looking at what wonderful lives others are living on FB & Co. But not so good if you are all alone and trying to write a review on local guide!...

Quite disappointing. The cheese burger was interesting but not really good. The combination of flavours was rather weird. Very fruity/citrus-y sauce and lots of grated carrots.

The worst where the fries though. We went there rather late at 9pm and were the only customers that ate there at the moment. Our fries where ready less than 5 minutes after ordering which was a bit suspicious. The texture of the fries was horrible. Somehow they were not crispy at all and chewy instead.
