This was one of the worst meals we have ever had in over 50 years of eating at restaurants around the world. Our expectations were high, because the ambience is nice, and there are many customers. Every dish was extremely disappointing. The gyoza had a hard shell and gooey filling. Apparently it had been in the freezer. The tempura was more of a schnitzel—dark brown over-fried vegetable slabs. Fried in old grease? The sushi was over-sauced and heavy. There was no love in the preparation. When the waitress came by after a long time, I explained that the “tempura” was inedible. She said that if I had told her earlier, they would have prepared something else. I said, with no hostility, that nobody had been to our table earlier, and even if they had been, we would not have expected anything to have been edible.
