URBAN BROS. PIZZA & CO. — Restaurant in Vienna

We ordered from Urban Pizza online a few times before (in 2023), and it was solid. For a change, we thought of visiting the place, and eating at the venue. I usually don't give bad reviews, however, this was a really bad experience, and we must share the latest status with the community.

There was no heating in January, it was very cold inside 🥶 After we got seated, we wanted to order drinks – most of them on the menu were not available. Only cold drinks from the fridge were possible (no tea, or coffee).

On the men's toilet, all three urinals were broken and covered in plastic foil 😵‍💫 And there were no paper towels to dry your hands. That was the 2nd warning sign. But ok, we thought they have a small construction site going on, and we could live with that.

So, then we ordered food. We waited about 45 mins for them to make 2 burgers, 1 pizza, 1 lasagna, and 1 salad. The waiter left in the meantime. I assume he went out to make a delivery (no one said anything to us). He never came back 😳 So our drinks were served only with the food. And there was no sight of cutlery.

The cook brought out the food. I asked for the glasses, and they looked at me weird, as if they don't understand why one would need a glass to drink from. Finally, they brought them out from the back. Haha, what is going?

Regarding the food... we got a wrong salad, and they forgot on one burger. So, one guest was left waiting for another 20 min 😡 The salad bowl was not at all as described on the menu – basically it was chopped lettuce with a ton of dressing mix (mayo, sugar, ...) on it 🤢

At the end, we overpaid for the worst dining experience.

We are so disappointed and will never be coming back again. Bye bye,...

We ordered from Urban Pizza today. The menu sounded promising, however the food (pizza funghi, vegan burger with fries and vegan Sachertorte) turned out to be mediocre at best and here’s why:

Let’s start with the pizza: Although the mushrooms were fresh (luckily no canned ones) the dough was too thick and bland (a matter of preference, of course) Next, the burger bun was not particularly good (looked and tasted like the ones you get from the store). The fries arrived lukewarm and were limp, nothing like the ones you get from the big fast food chains.I, however, need to point out that the delivery itself took approximately 40 minutes, so I suppose that the food tastes better when consumed at the restaurant. The most disappointing order was the vegan Sachertorte. Totally overpriced as it was only a small slice for almost €6. If you expect a traditional vegan version of the cake, you’ll be disappointed. It was a chocolate cake soaked in apricot jam with a weird glaze, reminding me of a dried-up butter cream.

Despite a nice selection of vegan and non-vegan options, rather disappointing. It’s not necessarily bad but there are just better (quality- and tastewise)...

Have ordered from here several times now. Vegan burgers are great, but the side dishes leave something to be desired (potato wedges okay; french fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries all look and taste like from frozen). My kids like the pizza. However, tonight may be the last time we order delivery directly from here. It took almost 2 hours to receive our delivery order---50 minutes after the predicted delivery time. Our kids were eating dinner when they should have been lying in bed. And everything was cold as if it had been ready an hour before. Extremely...
