Unfortunately our visit was a complete and utter catastrophe. I’m not sure if we just caught that place on a bad day since previous reviews are mostly positive. We ordered an avocado bread, the viennese breakfast as well as the truffle scrambled eggs. The food came out after 45 minutes and the breakfast set was missing several parts (orange juice, yogurt with berries, bread, soft boiled egg). After pointing out that half of the breakfast set was missing we received most of it but were extremely disappointed in what we’ve been presented with. The cake as well as the bread rolls seemed to be dry leftovers from the day before and the yogurt turned out to be a low quality store bought, artificially flavored one. The soft boiled egg was hard boiled but at least the scrambled eggs turned out to be okay. However, the staff tried to remain calm and friendly but seemed utterly disorganized and over challenged. They even served us a wrong order twice before bringing out half of what we actually ordered. If we wouldn’t have been that hungry and waiting for 45 mins for our first meal of that day already, we wouldn’t probably have touched any of it. The biggest surprise however, was that after we voiced our disappointment upon the waitress’s inquiry if “everything was fine, we were still presented with the full bill and no apology or any sort of effort to make sure we won’t leave with a...

The food taste good, but the price doesn’t fit the quality of the service, when I pay almost €17 for a plate of food, €7 for a cocktail. I really expected a much more friendly service. I wish I could stop here. I made a reservation for a bigger group, once you have a bigger group of people, typically you will for sure expect a bigger noise coming from that table. They decided to put my reservation in the middle of the room. It was the dinner to celebrate that my husband and I just have got married that morning, we sign the papers and now are married, somewhat it was a very special event for us and to our friends. However, one of my guests had her birthday days before and we decided to sing happy birthday to her. I got shocked 😳, literally shocked when this man came to our table to shush 🤫 us. I have never in my life experienced that nor I could imagine that a restaurant would shush their customers when they sign happy birthday. How long does that last? Not even a minute will a happy birthday last and will be loud. So in this restaurant they don’t let you demonstrate any type of loudness happiness. For me that was, uncalled, unnecessary, rude behavior of them. We are their clients they are not doing us any favors we are paying for service, I wasn’t aware that you can not EXIST in this restaurant, I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Nothing was worth the...

I might have high standards. Well. Or at least, I expect a certain quality, especially when Hollerei at their website express a high quality brand style and beautiful images of food.

The food is not bad. But nor is it more than average. For the price, on the vegan dishes, I do not find it worth it. The food we had (curry and noodle dish) was overcooked and moderately spiced/tasty.

The noodle dish had the same consistency all the way through and nor was it especially beautiful presented. I do appreciate the sprouts on top of each dish but it seem a bit primitive anyway.

The too dishes also had more or less the same ingredients except for red curry sauce and sweet potatoes in the one and rice noodles in the other.

It's fair to say it was an dissapointment for the price at around 13-15 euro per dish.

We even started with Samosas with a tiny side of china-cabbage sallad (semi-kimchi style) for 9 something euros. They where okay, but not worth the money.

The house wine, 0.5 l for 9 something was fine though. The rest of the drink card and prices looked fair.

SUMMARUM: The food, which we came for, was not impressive but rather disappointing, for the price we payed. For lunch, around the 10 mark inkl. a sallad or soup it would be okay though. But, again, not the gastronomical experience I was expecting from reading previous reviews and researching Facebook...

one of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants in vienna! although I was a bit sceptical of the location at first- as the restaurant’s not situated in a central area- it turned out to be such a nice and lovely spot to have lunch! I booked a table one day before, and it worked perfectly. The staff is super friendly and attentive, food comes fast and is super delicious on top! The portions were big, even some of the appetizers (like the udan noodles we had) could have gone as a main dish. Highly recommending the Thai Curry and the saisonal dishes they have. Even my grandparents, who don’t live vegan, were excited and definitely want to come again. Perfect for lager groups and people who want to see, what veganism could look like!
