Food is very greasy and salty. I order the crispy chicken plate, which the waitress recommended. The chicken, which was fried, was greasy & bitter (bitter probably due to unclean oil). The sauted vegetables were greasy and salty.
Wait was too long. My food took about 30 min to be served. After I asked for the check, I waited for another 30 min. At the end, I had to go to the cashier desk to ask the bill again. BTW, it was during the wait time that I read all the negative reviews, which turned out true for me : (
They only took cash, but did NOT make that clear when I entered. When I was paying, they just said there was no credit card machine, and that I had to find an ATM. Finally, they agreed to take cash in US dollars. My bill was 34 Euro, and they charged me 40 USD. According to the currency exchange rate, 34 EURO was ~37 USD. I don't mind paying $3 more, but I do mind being overcharged for the inconvenience that the business owner creates. I wonder if it is legal to force customers to pay in cash in Austria. It's clearly a tax evasion scheme, so someone should look into it.
As a Chinese-American, I try to support Asian businesses, but this one I can't. This is just an inefficiently, and quite possibly illegally, run business. I highly doubt the validity of its 4.7 star rating. This place should be a...
Read moreI had the lunch buffet. Mainly Vegan buffet with few exceptions (marked by a star). 8,9€ for adults makes it a cheap and satisfying experience, if you're into the simple cooking of western worlds china buffets. Miso soup, springrolls, dim sums, deep fried variations of pumpkin, zuccini, mushroom and several tofu types too. 4-6 wok and stews, clean steamed broccoli, some cucumber sallad, cabbage and sprout sallad. There's a lot to choose from and while some is very greasy and cooked soft, and its not ny favourite, it might be yours :) A typical middle grade chinese kitchen (for the buffet lunch I.E.) were you can try several different styles. If you just want to eat cheap, a lot and vegan, this might please you.
Ambiance very calm and simple. Trashy in a nice way. Out door garden surrounded by beautiful bamboo. But for quality, and healthy eating there are much better options.
Three stars for price, service, amount of options/variation and an acceptable taste experience for the exceptation.
What I miss: better quality (note, I havnt had a la carte), health standard on food and cleaning, better buffet presentation/arrangement, nicer...
Read moreThis place is literally our favorite restaurant we’ve ever been to. Me and my wife came here for the first time three years ago when we first met and loved the experience so much we never stopped talking about it. only now- three years later- we got a chance to visit Vienna again and we were so excited to come back! The food was as delicious as we remembered it, we came here for dinner two days in a row. We ordered the miso soup, spring rolls, the special chicken dish, dumplings and the chicken with veggies and cashew. All of it was absolutely delicious! The waitress Chin (i apologize if I spelled it wrong) is the sweetest, always smiling and super friendly! They often give a small complimentary dessert plate after your meal, usually with an orange and a small nonalcoholic drink. It’s a lovely ending to your meal! The food and experience here is definitely worth the money. Good portions of delicious food with a complimentary treat, and a lovely staff? We will ALWAYS come back here when in Vienna, and we recommend you...
