Needless to say that you need a reservation for that place… If you don’t have it, you won’t see the cats nor will you be able to enter the room where they are to pay them a visit. Only half the place is actually a cat cafe. We sat at the bar and I observed the preparation of the coffee all the time. And I was disappointed. I won’t deny that the coffee was really good. But… the barista using the cat paw stencil to make a paw out of cacao on my coffee used her finger to swirl the cacao around the sieve… why is it so difficult to use a spoon instead? Secondly, the cakes were pushed on the plates using a finger while being served. And lastly and most importantly, all people working there were lost in their world. They were neither friendly, nor mean. But they were not communicative and we waited for so long before ordering as well. When I asked to order, the waiter pretended that he didn’t hear me and then came back and looked at us and we ordered. I won’t be returning. Too bad because the idea is...

The atmosphere was very quite and calm. The music wasn’t very loud. Visiting the place on a rainy day was very nice. The waiters speak both english and german so you don’t have to worry about communicating. We ordered the peanut cookie, chocolate brownie, and the the small cake. The brownies weren’t good i wouldn’t recommend it. The peanut cookie and the small cake were okay. The coca drink was also okay. The cutes thing was the shapes they added to the Coca. I would definitely visit again for the cats not the food. When we went there the places was almost full and we didn’t have a reservation so be carful and reserve before hand because you might not find a place. The cats were very cute but you have to approach them even if they are with other people because there are no turns. You might not even find the cats because the cats can go to their own room when they are tired so keep that in mind. I would definitely recommend going there and meeting other...

So far, I've been to quite a few cat cafes in my time, and as per usual, you need to know the right time when to show up, when the cats are at their most relaxed, and few children around as possible.

The door system in place needs work, as cats seem to have figured out they can saunter out to the bar section, should any careless guest give them a chance at an escape. This is also the main reason as to why you need to wait at the entrance, as an electronic lock keeps cats from taking a shortcut out to the mildly busy street. How this affects safety regulations when it comes to an emergency in case of a fire, I don't know.

As for the food, while mostly vegan, can suprise you at times. The curry was quite good, as are the cakes, if somewhat missing something still, but I can't place my tastebuds onto what as of yet. Further visits might be required.

I'd say it is a work still in progress, but a step up from similiar locations within...

This café is a cozy, charming place home to some lovely cats - and a fine selection of coffees and cakes which we can highly recommend trying out. (In addition, the café also offers lunch options which we didn’t try.) The staff were very friendly and outgoing, taking good care of their human customers and feline co-workers. The cats’ area is filled with cosy mostly mid-20th century furniture, giving it a nice vintage vibe, and a lot of space for the cats to play, explore and nap in. In addition to seeing to the resident felines’ well-being, the café is supporting animal rescue initiatives by providing information on adoptable cats and kittens on a tv screen. The main bar is separated from their area via a glass door, which allows for a quick stopover for a coffee to go. If you plan to visit the cats however, it‘s highly recommended to book a timeslot in advance - or at least phone ahead to see whether there is a table available.
