Restaurant Review: 5/5 - Outstanding Vegetarian Food Experience with a Purpose
Tucked away in the heart of Baku, this vegan restaurant is a true hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the peaceful ambiance, filled with warm, natural decor and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. But it’s not just the aesthetics that make this place special—it’s the philosophy behind the food.
The menu is vegetarian & plant-based delight, bursting with flavor and creativity. Each dish is a work of art, made from fresh, local ingredients that celebrate the natural bounty of the region. I tried their SINGAPORE NOODLES, Kofte & Vegan Hot Dog, all these were impeccably balanced in taste and texture. Every bite was vibrant, healthy, and deeply satisfying.
What sets this restaurant apart, though, is its commitment to more than just good food. Their ideology is rooted in sustainability and ethical consumption.
It's clear they are as passionate about the mission as they are about the food, and that makes dining here feel like you’re part of something bigger.
The service was impeccable as well, with staff that are genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. They took the time to explain each dish, sharing stories about where the ingredients come from and the positive impact of their vegan lifestyle on the environment.
This is not just a restaurant, but a place of positive change and mindful eating. Whether you’re a long-time vegan or simply curious, this is the kind of place that will make you appreciate the power of plant-based cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone in Baku looking for a meal with both...
Read moreHighly disappointing place. Super tiny so or you go alone or with just one friend, cause there’s no room for more than 2 in one table. I feel they try to cover different meals from around the world but the forgot the flavor. Neither of the plates we ordered were tasty. The other problem we had was the size, I finished my Russian dish in 3 tablespoons, it should have a note saying appetizer or not even. I left the place with a horrible taste in my mouth. As vegan, it’s a petty because I love supporting this type of restaurants, but this’s not the case. Don’t go there, it’s expensive for what it is and not worth it at all. Go to Manipura instead, better dishes, properly done, size is proper and staff is nice.
FYI I don’t live in the country, so I’m not saying something bad about your place to promote another one. The review is sincere and real to what we experienced. If you don’t like it, I’m sorry but it’s our truth. Maybe you can post a real picture of the Russian dish and tell me that that’s a full meal, serve with hard old bread, not toast, that bread was old. I mentioned another place for people that maybe like us is traveling and trying to find a great place to eat vegan food and don’t know where. I’m sorry again, but I don’t support your business. Now if your strategy is to say you’re the only one not liking it, it’s okay. Maybe other people didn’t even take the time, and your friends enjoy posting good things about your place. Not...
Read moreWe had a delightful experience at this pure vegetarian restaurant in Baku, which serves some of the best dishes from various cuisines around the world.
We tried the signature “de Rama” rice bowl with fresh paneer and finely chopped tomatoes and cucumbers, along with hummus and rice and a tomato soup that was thick, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying — honestly, the best tomato soup I’ve ever had!
The restaurant has a warm, homely vibe with a hint of Hindu god statues, scriptures, and paintings, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The owner, a devoted follower of Lord Krishna, adds to the authenticity and charm of the place.
To make the experience even more special, the owner treated us to a refreshing betel leaf paan from Mumbai, which was a perfect finishing touch.
Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable dining experience — highly...
