Samrat Indian Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Baku City

While searching for a restaurant near our hotel around 10.30 we stumbled upon Samrat Indian restaurant. We decided to call them as timing was around their closing but they were kind enough to keep the restaurant open for us.

The owner, Staff & chef all are amazing & ready to help us out. They have great vegetarian & jain options.

We decided to try their Jain Dal khichdi. It was amazing & we absolutely loved it.

After having an amazing dinner the next day we decided to visit again for lunch.

We decided to try their Jain paneer paratha & jain veg Biryani.

Paneer paratha was filling & served with dahi. Paratha tasted really good. Jain veg biryani was also amazing & had proper indian flavours.

Day being the women's days they gave us complimentary Rabri which was heavily & amazing.

Best indian restaurant in Baku. Thier cuisines are authentic and definetely worth visiting.

We tried both veg and non veg during our multiple visits which included garlic bread, aloo mutter, pakora kadhi, aloo paratha, chicken kadai, dahi vada, chicken hot and sour soup, pasta and also refreshing tea.

The ambience is soothing with light indian music/tunes on the background.

The service and the staff hospitality is amazing.

Prices of the dishes are pocket friendly when compared to other restaurants in the locality.

Would recommend all to visit if they are craving for indian food and want to satisfy thier taste buds.

This is simply the best Indian restaurant in Baku full stop . We came on holiday and tried 3 Indian restaurants in the main shopping area then we tried Samrat Indian its a 4 manat taxi ride from old town , it was worth every penny to get here . Food was cooked fresh from starters to main meal its was delicious authentic indian cuisine at its best . Forget the rest this is the best in Baku . Always remember in a indian restaurant if your food comes to fast its not cooked fresh it's pre cooked and re heated or re grilled , it's worth the wait as this place cooks freshly prepared to order .
