Read moreThe seafood fest was a big disappointment and nothing like the videos advertised.
Food: A few things were decent — the sushi, some Indian curries, and 2–3 desserts stood out. The fruit and cold cuts were fresh. But beyond that, it went downhill. The “live seafood” section didn’t even have lobster, tuna, or pomfret. The large pieces on display were just for show. The grill served only salted fish, completely dry, without even a slice of lime. The live station was just a stir-fry where you had to search for seafood. The so-called paella was basically polau with a few oysters on top. Most of the other fish dishes simply tasted bad.
Service: The staff weren’t rude, but the service was nonexistent. Our table didn’t have glasses, and when I asked, they only brought one. When clearing plates, they placed all the cutlery onto the dirty plate. When we asked for fresh cutlery (since we didn’t know which “trash spoon” belonged to whom anymore), they just pointed out a few and we had to ask again. Even settling the bill was a hassle — after asking three times, my friend finally had to joke, “Should we just leave without paying?” before...
Read moreWent here to have their iftar come dinner buffet. Honestly, when you enter the dining area, you can tell they placed more tables just to accommodate extra orders, and made the place just overpacked. The food options were good but when there's a queue for almost all items, it just takes away all the good vibes from the variety of food on offer. The over crowded-ness just added to all the woes, it was difficult to even walk back to our table after having been able to successfully hunt and secure the food. They had a good selection of items but alas due to the traffic pertaining to the major items, was able to secure maybe a bit of the good stuff. Perhaps I need to visit them during normal time to fully value the food and its quality. But definitely never going back if they continue to overfill like this. They had praying rooms on the second floor which was...
