Hands down the best pizza in town....If you want to experience an authentic taste and happen to like soft crust...This is your go to place...Ordered the Margherita and Bolognese pizzas..10/10 for both of them...They were served hot and fresh out of the oven...Highly recommended... Also ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo pasta...which was unfortunately lacked flavour due to an unproportionate amount of cheese..so wouldn't recommending that.. It'll sadly be a 6/10 Ordered the Principesse Omelette...which is basically a big omelette wrapping cheese, mushrooms, sausages inside...with a side of sauteed boiled potatoes and a toast...what can ever go wrong with an omelette! It's easily shareable by two... Rating it a 9/10 ...Deducted a point because how ridiculously highly priced it is... Also tried their Cheesecake which I didn't click a photo of...It felt like Dan cake..and possibly had only 2% cheese and 98% flour in it..My tongue was literally searching for the hint of cheese the cake barely has...So would never recommend it..Sadly, I'd give it a 1/10 ... Overall the ambience was good...very Old timey Italian vibe... Recommended Items: ✓ Pizza Margherita ✓ Pizza Bolognese E Olive ✓ Omelette di Principesse According to price, the pizzas was accordingly priced but the price of the omelette was ridiculously high The proportion of every...
Read moreThis is one of the very few restaurants in Dhaka that I am a genuine admirer of, and keep returning to. It has already been more than a decade that I am going to this restaurant every now and then, or these days I order online too.
Food: I love their food. Their thin crust pizza, pasta, garlic mushroom, omelet are really good. I have not tried other items, and I have always been loyal to the above items only. Only thing I did not like was their cheesecake. Not sure if their dessert section has always been this underwhelming or it was just a one-time thing. In terms of beverage, I like their iced tea a lot.
Ambience: It is nothing too fancy. There is a cozy feeling about it. I have been seeing the same patterned tablecloth over the years. The Italian songs they play give the atmosphere a different touch. Overall, it is lovely.
Only once in all these years I have had bad experience with their food. But I let it pass as a one-time thing, as it never happened again.
They have outlets in Uttara and Dhanmondi too. I mainly visit their Gulshan outlet. Anyway, highly recommended restaurant. I am sure I will go there many more times, given that they maintain this same level of quality...
Read moreBella Italia offers a classic, comforting Italian experience that has cemented its status as a local favorite. The atmosphere manages to be simultaneously lively and intimate, evoking an old-timey Italian vibe with its charming decor and background music, which makes it perfect for a casual family meal or a laid-back dinner with friends. The environment is generally clean and comfortable, though the lighting can feel a bit too bright in the evenings; a minor detail, but something to note if you prefer moodier dining. The food, however, is the real reason for the consistent crowds. Bella Italia's strength lies in its authenticity and consistency, particularly with its famous thin-crust pizzas. Dishes like the Pizza Bolognese or the classic Quattro Formaggi arrive perfectly crisp and richly flavored, proving why they are considered some of the best in the city. Beyond the pizza, the menu features a dependable selection of rich pastas, such such as the Lasagne Al Forno. While the service can occasionally be slow during peak hours, the overall experience of enjoying genuinely satisfying Italian comfort food makes this restaurant a...
