Aandaaz — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

The restaurant has a unique and inviting ambiance, with cool background lighting and a water fountain. The views from the 13th floor are also stunning. The staff is very responsive and well-mannered. They were happy to suggest dishes to us, even though we weren't sure what to order. The food was served quickly and was delicious. The flavors were well-balanced and the ingredients were fresh.

The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side, but it is worth it for the quality of the food and service.

Today I had lunch with 3 other people. When the dishes were served, a small cockroach 🪳 came along with a basket full of Luchi which we ordered. The cockroach hid inside the basket but eventually came out later. Then another small cockroach 🪳 a little bigger than the other was running around on the table. We waited for almost an hour before ordering the food AMD there was no cockroaches I could see on the table. So I'm assuming the roaches came with the dishes from the kitchen. So the kitchen must be full of small cockroaches 🪳 - extremely dirty and unhygienic. This is a serious health concern for guest dining in...

No photos this time (ironic, I know 😅) but the experience was totally worth it!

Tried an Indian cuisine-based restaurant and we ordered daal makhni, paneer masala, chicken curry, with rumali roti. Every dish was flavorful and comforting. 🍛

Went as a group of four, wasn’t super hungry, so the portions worked well. But ideally, one main can easily be shared between two.

Bonus points: The place has aesthetic corners perfect for photos and a smoking zone if that matters to you.
