Cricketer's Kitchen & Cafe — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

Lake side restaurants always drags people to come again and again to see the natural beauty, calm water of the lake, to feel the cold breeze…it has all of these...it is one of the few lake side restaurants in Bangladesh…The green lawn made the restaurant even more beautiful and exceptional from others…that’s why I loved this place at first sight…Interior design of this place is so soothing that you will feel warmth and welcoming…they’ve arranged painting of famous legend cricketers, cricket stuffs in the whole restaurant… looks like cricketers gallery at stadium…

We had the Classic Beef Burger and Aloo Papri Chaat…Honestly the worst burger I’ve ever ate…Beef Petty of burger was okay…onion was thick… Mayonnaise was so gross which made the burger tasteless! So I’ll not recommend this burger…As for the Aloo Papri Chaat, it was too delicious that has all the flavors in one bite…spicy, sweet, tangy and more stuff…I don’t know about others but I found food pricing here is cheap except the 15% vat…all I can say price is reasonable for this standard of restaurant in Dhaka…also an Excellent place for dinning with friends and loved ones..

One thing I loved very much is that, the manager of this restaurant was so gentle… he asked if we’d enjoyed the environment or not, foods were okay or not…he was concerned about customer satisfaction which is really good for restaurant reputation…I’m satisfied with the...

A restaurant with a difference.

From the moment you enter, you know you've gotten into the world of cricket. Cricket is all around you, and those who designed the interior, did a truly commendable job. The accompanying images tell that story.

The place is also pretty well laid out, with varying levels for dining. There is also an open space with tables laid out, and which is adjacent to a lake. This adds an extra flavor to the overall ambience of the place.

The quality of the food is commendable, especially their harliali chicken and their naan. The barbecued chicken kabab is also worth a notable mention.

The servers are all extremely helpful, alert, cordial and friendly.

However, there are two downsides that I would like to mention. (1) The parking is grossly inadequate, considering the size of the restaurant. (2) The big-screen TV, which constantly streams either live or reruns of cricket, ought to be looked into. It is dark, with an irritating bluish tint. Perhaps it's only a matter of adjustment.

And now I have a suggestion: It would be a nice touch to the overall atmosphere of cricket if the servers were made to wear the jerseys similar to the ones worn by the Bangladeshi players (without the players names -- though it could have the server's name instead).

This place is good for family program or other occasion but definitely its not a budget friendly restaurant at all. Its just beside Hatirjheel lake. There has some open yard which is smoking friendly but bed smell comes from Hatirjheel. Foods are not price worthy. Set manue is available only for lunch time. Food quantity is really very low considering the price. Though they claim about "quality food" but quality seems just like the foods besides police plaza food court.Foods are not soo Special. I took food from last 3 yrs. But it seems they are decreasing the quality day by day but increasing the food price accordingly. If you want a calm & quite place rather than food , you may choose it. Otherwise you may choose police plaza food court for better food...
