Good bar with pretty decent decor. I actually like this bar apart from the other bar I hang around. Mostly because of the panaromic window view of the bar. This bar has it's legacy of being one of the oldest bar in town. They also have a good range of products.Gets really crowded at weekend. But sitting arrangements are good. Service unfortunately not up to mark but better than most of the other bars. Tip is up to you but they don't brag for it. Food is very nice and I would definitely recommend it. My favorite is their fish fry. But if you are on budget, then a potato fries which worth 100 take will be sufficient for two people enjoying their drink. They charge a bit extra for percel but I think it's ok since you can always get a sealed bottle of local booze even if you take a half. Overall a good place to hang but not for to chill. Also a quick tip for who want to take some time in the bar and chill: there are two entrance of the bar. One is the main gate with wide opening, but there is another one a small one at the side of the building which leads to the main bar from where they serve and that have a nice cozy sitting arrangement. And I noticed mostly veterans and senior people drink there and the staff are more modest too. Want to take it slow and less...
Read moreI have been a customer of all premium bars of Dhaka city such as BLUEMOON, Kingfisher etc. Sakuras service is very poor. They don’t return the change even if it’s 410 taka. Few of the waiters over charge from 50-100 taka extra if you are new there and don’t know the price. In the day time they serve he old opened bottles from last night without it’s temper. The behavior of the waitress are very poor specially the senior waiters. Even if you want to change the place of seating a waiter will say that he is working for 41 years. And if you argue being a customer he says don’t come to this place. We pay good money for what exactly??? It is unprofessional and...
