Ammy's Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Aalst

I visited Ammys Thai Cuisine on a regular Thursday evening, and the place was packed! We received a warm and professional welcome right away. The themed decorations added to the atmosphere, and our party of four shared the megamix appetizer. The portion size was excellent for sharing, and we loved the freshness of the ingredients.

The cocktails we ordered were enjoyable, but the purple one (whose name I can’t recall) was a bit too sweet and had a somewhat chemical taste, which didn’t quite align with the citrus notes I was expecting.

For the main course, everything was delicious. The balance of herbs and flavors was spot on, and the spiciness was accurately represented according to the menu's meter.

I also appreciated the service and ambiance of the restaurant. The wait time was reasonable, and the staff was amazing!

Na 35minuten hebben we zelf moeten vragen of wij iets te drinken kregen, voorgerecht kregen we na een uur en 5 minuten wachten, hoofdgerecht 1u58 minuten wachten. Eten was goed, niet duur, maar niet beter dan andere Thai restauranten in omgeving. Onze 2de drankjes werden vergeten en hebben we opnieuw moeten bestellen bij een andere ober. Ik merkte ook op dat mensen die binnenkwamen redelijk lang moesten wachten voordat zij een plaats toegewezen kregen. Service was ondermaats, eten ok, en personeel was wel héél vriendelijk naar hun klanten toe. Ook zou ik op de menu aanduiden dat groene curry pikanter is dan rode. Deze is veel milder.
