For this type of fine dining restaurant, the expected taste level of the food is high, and Cella is no exception. The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. However, the service could enhance the overall dining experience; in my humble opinion, it could be better.

There are certain restaurants, whether fine dining or casual, that you keep returning to. While the food needs to be good, service is equally important. The Staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming, fostering pleasant conversations—such as explaining the menu and making suggestions based on a guest's taste profile. We first visited this place for cocktails and drinks, and I have to say: it was the best espresso martini I’ve ever had in Antwerp! We enjoyed it so much that we decided to come back for dinner, and it was absolutely worth it. The steak and the fish were amazing, cooked perfectly, and the staff were kind and attentive, doing their best to ensure we had a great experience.

Looking at the menu and the price one would expect prime quality. The starter, beef tartare was more than ok but nothing exceptional. The main course, Duroc, was a real disappointment, more fat than meat and undercooked. Someone in the kitchen didn't check what was sent out. Another table guest had the same dish which looked much better. Kudo's to the waiters who went out of their way apologising and offered a free coffee and pousse café.
