Fugu Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Antwerp

We ordered via Uber eat, and after 1h that we placed our order we got a message from the delivery guy that the order was cancelled, even if the order was still active in our app. So, since we didn't get our food we decided to call the restaurant to ask for info. At first, the guy from the restaurant answered pretending to not understand a word of what we were saying, afterwards he acted really unfriendly saying that he couldn't cancelled the order (even if he could, since the order made through Uber eat can be cancelled by the restaurant). He closed the call while we were waiting for answers so we called again 3 times trying to explain the same situation and to get the refund for the cancelation. At the end he managed to cancel the order form his end. All in all horrible experience. Rude and very unprofessional. I really hope the food is better than the staff you employ. Amazing place! I went to try it with a friend on Friday. They have a nice terrace (which is really nice is the weather is good) and inside is very cozy too.

We ordered rose for drinking which was actually very good and we ordered 4 things of the menu (8 pieces each or the orders).

The variety is not very big among the rolls, but they are all very special, really elaborated and incredibly tasty.

My favourite one was without doubts the tempura. Super light and very crunchy.

The service is really attentive and friendly. With the 32 pieces we finished very good. Full but not stuffed.

The price in total was about 26€ for the sushi which was actually good for the incredibly good that we ate.

If you do not like sushi, this might be a great place for you! The waiting time was very very long. Several people who arrived and got their order taken after us got their food before us. When we said that we had been waiting a very long time for our food they said that they “care” about the food they serve… Mind you the rice in our sushi was warm and the twist is that we didn’t order anything fried or that needed heating.
