A Memorable Dining Experience at Little Ethiopia, Antwerp
I had the pleasure of visiting Little Ethiopia in Antwerp, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant has recently moved to a new, much larger location, and the change is a game-changer! A couple of years ago, it was tucked away in a small, hard-to-find area, but now it sits in the perfect spot, easily accessible, and boasting an inviting atmosphere.
I visited with a group of friends from different parts of the world, and we were all absolutely blown away by the food and service. Little Ethiopia offers some of the best Ethiopian cuisine I've had the pleasure of trying, not just in Antwerp but across all of Europe. The dishes were packed with flavor, and while they were not overly spicy, the kitchen happily adjusted the spice level to suit our preferences – which made everyone in our diverse group extremely happy.
The service was outstanding, despite the restaurant being full. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that every guest felt well taken care of. It's clear that the team at Little Ethiopia takes great pride in providing excellent hospitality alongside their delicious food.
All in all, a massive thank you to the Little Ethiopia team for making our night truly unforgettable. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a loyal fan, this place should be at the top of your list. I can't recommend it...
Read moreI use to come here with friend or family because of a beautiful decor. The food is tasty but the portions are extremely small! You’ll never feel satisfied even when we ordered extra side dishes which you never seen so small before. The shared dish for 2 people is actually enough for just one adult and not 2. When last year I had a visitator from an other country I wanted to show this restaurant and his decor. I called the restaurant and asked what time they close, the man (owner? ) told me until 10pm, but to arrive a little before closing time. We arrived at 8pm 30 and the woman there said there were closed even after mentioning that we called. Honestly I felt like I was the only customer they had as every time I arrived with friends, they never had other customers. Anyway I’ll never return. It’s the worst Ethiopia restaurant. And I’ve been to all Ethiopia restaurants in Belgium, France and Spain. I strongly advice to check out the Ethiopia restaurant in Antwerpen South. No decorations there but you will be full after eating and even take leftovers home and it’s cost cheaper too. And serves is there...
Read moreWas excited to dine here, so we sat in and ordered, but after over 40 minutes of waiting… all we got were 2 tiny bowls of food (one each). The menu was unclear and made it seem like side dishes were going to come with one of the mains, but they never arrived. I felt cheated for the price we payed for the amount of food we received. I mean 40+ minutes to get 2 TINY bowls of food??? I wouldn’t come here again. The woman serving us wasn’t very friendly, it didn’t look like she even wanted to be there. She never even gave us a receipt so when I gave her money to pay for the dinner, I handed a bit extra in cash just to make sure I covered the cost. She literally kept the extra and didn’t hand us back any change? So unprofessional. We didn’t even get a goodbye. Very...
