Ronin Asian Fusion🍣 — Restaurant in Antwerp

I’ve been a loyal customer for quite some time and have always been impressed with the service and the quality of the food of Ronin Asian Fusion. The ingredients are consistently fresh, and the dishes are usually flavorful and well-prepared. However, I was a bit disappointed with my order yesterday (Thursday 14/11). I had the Pad Thai Kip (€15,50) and Udon Kip (€15,50) around 17h35, and while the portions were generous and the toppings were all there, both dishes lacked flavor. It felt as though there were little to no seasonings, resulting in a very bland taste. This was surprising since I’ve come to expect the flavors I usually get here…. Perhaps there’s a new chef or a slight change in preparation methods? I wanted to share this feedback constructively because I truly enjoy your food and have rarely had any remarks in the past. Very friendly staff, but the food wasn't great and the portions are too small for what you pay. 30€ for 2 noodle dishes that were the size of a side dish. We're both still hungry after finishing. Food was ok, asian food is always very tasty and this was a little dull. The spicy oil they supplied was good and indeed very spicy. For the prices you pay here now it doesn't seem worth it, you can get much more food for same price or cheaper elsewhere in the neighborhood. Maybe reconsider your prices / portion size...

Minus 1 star, to be more precise! Ordered at 19PM via Deliveroo. Called the restaurant around 20PM to ask about our order: “food was ready, but only one person out for deliveries”. At 22PM (!!!) still heard nothing, seen nothing. Deliveroo themselves couldn’t reach the restaurant.
