I've always wanted to try the food here, and I'd say the quality was excellent. It's a high-end restaurant with beautifully prepared dishes; I had the special which was lamb shanks with gratin dauphinois and seasonal vegetables. The lamb was nicely cooked and tender.

My partner had the fish special with puréed vegetables which she enjoyed, too. The portion size was bigger than I was expecting.

The decor is similar to a hunting lodge with antlers on the walls, and a decorative fireplace.

The only point you should be aware of is the price. It is pretty expensive, and we only had a main and some wine. It's really for a mature crowd and became quite busy after 7 pm. I'd probably would come back for...

Amazing food! Big portions and everything was outstanding. Husband and wife duo, she goes around the tables and he cooks. Yummy! Did not have the capacity for the tasting menu, but I loved the regards from the kitchen-very yummy fish pate.
