SUNHOUSE — Restaurant in Antwerp

I had a brunch a few days ago at Sunhouse. The atmosphere is nice, the food is simple but good, and the personnel is welcoming. But there is a lack of transparency. I had a look at the menu online on their website beforehand, and when I arrived there, I realised that almost everything was at least 10% more expensive on the paper version of the menu compared to the online version (too expensive for what you get in my opinion). Then, we did not ask for it but the waitress proposed to bring a jug of water that we accepted thinking that it was free (given that it was tap water and that it was proposed), but the waitress added it on the bill: 5 euros. Such a great place to visit! This restaurant is a gem to visit while out antiquing in the Kloosterstraat or you’re just in the city wanting a delicious bite to eat. The food is absolutely stellar, the service is super friendly & on Sundays you get fun live music! The music also isn’t too loud to become annoying or anything like that, it just provides a really happy-go-lucky vibe while you’re out dining with friends. Wow! Sunhouse is just great! We came here for lunch and a short break from shopping, and loved the whole experience. The food is wonderful! The pulled pork is like crack cocaine.... it could be immediately addictive! And, they pile the delicious pork on a thick slice of toast with hollandaise sauce. I had them add an egg, and I loved it. My husband greatly enjoyed his avocado toast with an egg... but I'd have to get that wonderful Pulled Pork Benny next time. We highly...
