A lovely little café on one of the many quaint squares Antwerp has to offer. The yellow awnings and aesthetics really make Kefeenini pop out, so it's easy to find. It's a bit of the beaten path, but close to the Momu museum, Kafeenini offers a great place to have a bit of lunch. As someone always happy to find a good bagle somewhere, the restaurant offers a variety of great toppings. I would recommend the delightful tunamelt. Also, try one of the special coffees. They look fun and taste great. As I've read in multiple reviews, the service was a bit slow. Though true, they are very kind and might just be a little bit understaffed. So if you're not in a hurry and looking for a nice lunch, go to Kafeenini, sit out in the sun, and enjoy the food.

Really great place for coffee. No matter if you are alone, with friends, children, this place has something for everyone. The meny had also children many, vegan friendly, not yet alien one, but I am sure if they come, they will have something for them also. Located in nice small plaza with shade from trees but also place if you want to catch some sun. It was hot day, so i took Iced cappuccino and it was amazing. I sow that they have really nice food and tasteful deserts so for sure will come back again. One more place to coffee list.

Mediocre cappuccino, mediocre interior and some of the staff were very unprofessional (wearing a very dirty and stained apron/not apologizing when a parasol nearly fell on a customer) furthermore, the tomato soup tasted like nothing. Only the bagels that we tried were really tasty, those I can recommend. So overal not a great experience. I was hoping to go to a trendy specialty coffee bar, sadly didn't live up to that expectation.

Mediocre cappuccino, mediocre interior and some of the staff were very unprofessional (wearing a very dirty and stained apron/not apologizing when a parasol nearly fell on a customer) furthermore, the tomato soup tasted like nothing. Only the bagels that we tried were really tasty, those I can recommend. So overal not a great experience. I was hoping to go to a trendy specialty coffee bar, sadly didn't live up to that expectation.

I went to this as a regular customer for take away, the person who took my order was extremely rude. I ordered Omelette and his reply was: we don't give that as take away, then i ordered eggs and bread: same answer. I have been ordering this for months!!! I always take this to my work on the way. I told him this that and the he goes back to the kitchen and comes back saying we will do that. After waiting I finally got my order and I got to my work and It WAS NOT what I ORDERED!!!! I had to go back and get it corrected, this time there was someone else who was friendlier and took care of it well. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR PERSONEEL! This is not a good answer if you tell your customers that we don't do take away while I have been doing it for the last 2...

The Nationalestraat is the new "hip" shoppingstreet in Antwerp ( already promised a couple of years, but only recently got the feeling myself). If you're looking for a nice breakfast or lunchspot in that neighborhood, look no further Kaffeenini it is!

Why go here?

there is a big terrace with sun all day

you can have it all from coffee to home made iced tea, bagels, flammkuchen and soups

they've got free WiFi

their service is really nice
