Kaffeenini — Restaurant in Antwerp

I went to this as a regular customer for take away, the person who took my order was extremely rude. I ordered Omelette and his reply was: we don't give that as take away, then i ordered eggs and bread: same answer. I have been ordering this for months!!! I always take this to my work on the way. I told him this that and the he goes back to the kitchen and comes back saying we will do that. After waiting I finally got my order and I got to my work and It WAS NOT what I ORDERED!!!! I had to go back and get it corrected, this time there was someone else who was friendlier and took care of it well. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR PERSONEEL! This is not a good answer if you tell your customers that we don't do take away while I have been doing it for the last 2...

A lovely little café on one of the many quaint squares Antwerp has to offer. The yellow awnings and aesthetics really make Kefeenini pop out, so it's easy to find. It's a bit of the beaten path, but close to the Momu museum, Kafeenini offers a great place to have a bit of lunch.

As someone always happy to find a good bagle somewhere, the restaurant offers a variety of great toppings. I would recommend the delightful tunamelt. Also, try one of the special coffees. They look fun and taste great.

As I've read in multiple reviews, the service was a bit slow. Though true, they are very kind and might just be a little bit understaffed. So if you're not in a hurry and looking for a nice lunch, go to Kafeenini, sit out in the sun, and...

The Nationalestraat is the new "hip" shoppingstreet in Antwerp ( already promised a couple of years, but only recently got the feeling myself). If you're looking for a nice breakfast or lunchspot in that neighborhood, look no further Kaffeenini it is!
