I was looking for a cafe near the atomium that is not touristy, not expensive, feels local and cosy. I found all of this at Cafe PLATO. Had a nice 🍺 beer to start with then stayed for a 🍜 pho to warm me up and a ☕️ coffee to wake me up. They even have a bunch of board games that you can use and a full wall of books. Do you need more to feel cosy? The bartender was welcoming and kind too. 🐴 I found the hanger with the horse cute as hell too!

Came across on our way from the Atomium. Simple café with lovely atmosphere and great music. Friendly and attending staff, we felt like home. Good coffee, nice selection of local beers and delicious snacks. It would be our favourite spot if we lived here.

We have been there today and ordered drinks and an "assiette aperitif" that never came. When we asked, the staff took responsibility and proposed to prepare something on the spot, which we declined because we were in a hurry. Nevertheless, we received a cute, little plate of fingerfood to finish our drinks and their apologies.
