GOTHA BAR — Restaurant in Brussels

I feel a bit bad having to give such a low review, because the bar man is a nice guy. The bar is esthetically cozy, but there's one big problem that left me with a below par experience : the cocktails are a complete rip-off! I ordered a whiskey sour (off-menu, but the bartender told me he could make it) as my first drink, and what arrived was essentially whiskey with some lemon juice (so not a real whiskey sour). What's worse: it comes in a glass that's half empty! This was the first time in my life I was given half a cocktail.. When I bring this to the attention of the barman, he basically tells me that the quantities and recipe are the policy of the establishment. Ok...🤣 I then order an amaretto sour (which IS on the menu) and the bar man brings me essentially the same concept as the whiskey sour, but this time in a smaller glass so that the drink fills up the glass. And the drinks are €12 euro each, so not cheap... Anyway, I found the whole experience to be a bit irritating and embarrassing, because it clearly felt like I was being ripped off openly. Never in my life have I been served cocktails in glasses that were half empty! I therefore recommend that this bar gets its shit together, because I see I'm not the only one that has complained about...
