During my visit to Brussels 2 1/2 weeks ago, on a long walk around the Parc du Cinquantenaire and surrounds on my way back to my good friends' home, the business owners were handing out pastries (free) from the day instead of throwing them in the trash. This is the type of kindness we need in this world. I was and still am moved by this kind gesture. Humbled and grateful. The pastries and sourdough bread were scrumptious. I passed this along to my friend and he couldn't believe it. There are great people in this world....
   Read moreIn my opinion, itâs the best boulangerie at the moment in Brussels. They have a great variety of sweet and salty stuff, and all look delicious! The first time I went was on a Sunday around 13.00, there was a long queue but they had almost everything.
I must say that we bought a lot of things, salty and sweet but didnât have time to take a picture of everything as it looked so good that we didnât think about it. I very much recommend of sweet: the croissant of pistachio, cinnamon rolls and of salty things those sort of focaccia with cheese, spinach or tomatoesâŠ....
