le Din'en ville — Restaurant in Dinant

My husband and I visited Dinant over the weekend and we were so hungry during lunch time so decided to walk into this restaurant as the menu seemed quite interesting. After being seated for about 5-10 mins we had both decided what we wanted. I called out to one of the waitresses/servers who said she would come immediately. After waiting for another 5-10 mins she kept doing some other work, clearing tables and not even looking at us. I tried to politely call out to the other server to ask if he could take our order but was completely ignored as he went to other tables taking their orders. After trying to get someone's attention to place an order for about half an hour we just decided to get up and leave. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant and had this kind of experience before. The worst treatment and service ever! I'm not sure if that's how they usually do business or if it was a case of racism ( considering we were the only brown people in the restaurant) but for a restaurant that's in the center of a very touristy area, this was just...

First of all, if I can give a 0 star I will definitely do. The food is so disappointing. We are group of four and had dinner here last saturday. The soup is tasteless it’s like they just reheated it, the steak are the worst we ordered it as Medium but they served it like more than well done, it is so dry and chewy and really hard to cut it. And they already gave us the bill without serving the dessert. They forgot the dessert, we have to ask for it but one of the staff can’t understand english. Restaurant ligt naast de rivier. Mossel met creme sauce (1kg) + frites (ongezouten) en mayo erbij (blijkbaar mossel saus - daarom echt waterig) en nog pizza bolognaise besteld. Mossel met creme is wel lekker, jammer niet met stokbrood geserveerd. Pizza bolognaise is niet voor mij.

Neem me niet kwalijk als het een mosselsaus is, maar het is wel dun waterig en mijn excuses over een negatieve kritiek over jullie pizza bolognaise. Dat zou kunnen andere mensen jullie pizzas lekker vinden maar het is niet voor mij. Nogmaals sorry voor mijn kritiek.

Jullie mossel met creme saus is wel lekker, een compliment voor jullie. Ik wou zelf een 2e portie nemen maar dat is wat te veel zei mijn partner.

Pizzas en alle gerechten bij elke restaurant zijn allemaal zelf gemaakt toch. En als het niet zelf gemaakt dan zijn ze een supermarkt gerechten. Ja, het is wel een negatieve kritiek en u zou het naar de positieve kant aannemen. En niet echt zo boos reageren, andere toekomstige klanten lezen ook naar jullie antwoorden. Er zijn best veel negatieve reacties van jullie klanten. Het is wel tijd om te veranderen en verbeteren naar hogere sterren. Het lijkt erop dat de eigenaar/eigenarese te arrogant om alle negatieve kritiek met open handen te ontvangen.
