Cinnamon curry — Restaurant in Etterbeek

Not recommended at all. Extremely slow service. We had to ask for the food 2-3 times. The people at the other tables had the same issue. We literally waited for almost 1 hour to receive the meal, I was almost leaving. I have never seen such a restaurant. Ambience has nothing to do with India, not cosy, even cold. Only one young girl as a waiter... The end was also a disaster: She was calculating everything manually and she had to check 3 times. I was literally going mad. Bonus: one of the cooks was shouting at the waitress in front of customers. The food was delicious to be honest, and it was very very cheap, however it is not worth to wait sooooo long. I can't even think of...

Update; I'm sorry to say that I visited this restaurant having had a good take away previously (below), but it was very poor. Hard to get the attention of staff, a front door that won't stay closed, and raw tandoori chicken served. They recooked it when this was pointed out but nothing further was done than waiting for me to check it was cooked the second time.

Also to note that this restaurant does not serve alcohol.

I have to say that I am not a lover of Indian food but, reading different reviews, I decided to try. Actually, it was a good experience! The menu is really big so it is a bit difficult to choose. Some pictures would definitely help who, like me, do not really know the plates. In any case, I tried a starter and a main dish (a mixed grill) and both were quite good (not too spicy).
