I went to this restaurant tonight to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the I had a very pleasant experience. The menu was already set offering drinks, an appetiser, three mains to choose from and desserts. The table prepared was organised in a smart way allowing the guests to face each other’s making communication easier. Complementary bread was distributed very well on the tables allowing guests to enjoy it while the courses are being prepared. I had some of the red wine and white wine and thought it was alright but I don’t understand or like wine very much to judge it. But most of the guests were saying that both wines were very nice and asked for extra bottles. For the appetiser, we had Tomato Bruschetta and it was a very tasty and enjoyable start. I ordered the truffle penne pasta and my brother in law ordered the cannelloni with meat sauce and both were extremely delicious but my favourite was the truffle pasta. Probably the best truffle pasta I had. The dessert was a plate with two types, tiramisu and panna cotta which were very light and pleasant. We all concluded the night with some coffee and even that was very nice. In general, I would definitely come to have the truffle pasta again. That pasta was the start of the night tbh. Also, special thanks for the serving staff, especially the lady...
Read moreI've been to Eccetera countless times with my husband and friends, it's a place we always look forward to visit. We are expats and whenever we have friends or family visiting we take them to Eccetera and they love it! Everytime we go there, the personel is kind to us and attentive, thank you guys! ❤ Regarding the food, all dishes are great, my prrsonal favourite is the carbonara and I even have a little story to share: I went to Rome recently and I had many restaurant recomendations to try "the best" carbonaras. I went there and tried amazing ones and honestly, I can say that Eccetera's carbonara is also one of the best I've tried, they have nothing to envy from other restaurants in Rome and I'm happy to know that I can find such good quality pasta here in Brussels, congrats to the chef! 👨🏼🍳😘 Additionally, the dishes come with a bruschetta de la maison, it's also very delicious. I believe they changed the white wine from the house recently, and I'm happy with the change, I really enjoy the "new" wine of the house. 5 stars for this restaurant...
Read moreI was there with more than 30 poeple for a work lunch. The place is nice but very noisy. We could barely hear each other although we were at a dedicated floor. It was a set menu to share for all. Overall the food was common Italian food, not Bad but not waow either, but the service was awful. We were not informed of the menu, different dishes. We had to beg for wine, drinks. It was slow and they remove plates before we finished eating. Desert took so long that half of the poeple left before, we felt it was almost done on purpose..and we had to ask several time to get tea and coffee...which arrived long after desert....It seems the emphasis is mostly put on the decor and ambiance and less on food and service. And the price was extremely high !!!! Maybe more suitable for an apéro than a...
