Hmmmm..... So much to tell !!! We ordered yesterday 2 double espresso coffees. What more simple than that? Right? And since it was a bakery we were tempted to try one of the quiches they were offering. We ordered in the counter & then we sat, waiting our servings. When the coffees arrived we were surprised with what we got! We had no idea that in some Belgian cities the term espresso has a different meaning. We got each of us a huge cup with a single espresso inside plus a lot of free warm water in it. Obviously we were about to drink espressos for people who are obstaining from caffeine. Then some min. later the quiches arrived. The Feta & Spinach one was really good. The zalm & leek ... sould have been so much better... but it wasn't.
And now the best and finest detail in our morning! The bill. Oh yeah! A s...t load of money had to run from our pockets towards this unacceptable shop. How much they think our experience was worth ???????????????????? Hmmmmm........ Let me clear my throat.!
2 half espressos + 2 halfpiece quiches = 35 euros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!++!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!++!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hallelujah...
Read moreI visited this restaurant’s stand at the job fair in Flanders Expo on March 27, 2025, in the afternoon, and unfortunately, my experience was far TERRIBLE.
First, the cashier forgot my coffee, so I had to wait longer than expected. Then, she tried to give me a coffee that had been previously rejected by another customer. I reluctantly took it, but after just two sips, I realized the milk was spoiled! When I requested a replacement, they did give me a fresh coffee, but it was clear they knew exactly what they had done.
Many of these places only hire students to cut costs, but at least train them properly. Serving spoiled milk is simply UNACCEPTABLE.
On top of this poor service, the prices were unreasonably high. Definitely not a place I...
Read moreWe went with a group of 10 persons for a Sunday morning breakfast. It was not a good experience. When ordening they said halfway they couldn't serve more scrambled eggs. Serving the drinks was fast, but the food came really slow and not at the same time. The pasteurised eggs included in their Manhattan breakfast came almost half an hour later. The coffee was not that good. The capuchino was more a hot milk and hardly contained espresso.
The food is good, however the portions are at the small side. The price is kind of expensive. A big fresh juice costs more than 5 euro.
The atmosphere is nice and if you appreciate that everything is biological it might be worth your money. I wouldn't visit the place with more then 5...
