We came at 16:30 today, 04/10/24 and ordered food and drinks. Our order was accepted. We have received our drinks and couple minutes after we got our drinks we were told that kitchen is not open yet and will be open at 17:30 only. We were offered to wait for 1 hour. We were as a family with a 4y.o child, we were not those who came to stay hours and could easily wait for an hour when kitchen will be open. Waitress excused saying that she did not know about the kitchen. That’s unacceptable service to bring drinks and later tell about kitchen. If even kitchen is closed and you have accepted the order and find later that kitchen is not yet open, you should not bring drinks. This looked like - “we will sell you the drinks anyway”. Waitress told us that as it was a mistake we should not pay for the drinks, but then a man came with a bill and said if we will not pay he will call police. Is this the appropriate level of service? No. I left 15 EUR to cover the orange juice which our child has...

I didn't want to give it 3 stars only but unfortunately based on other reviews it seems that my complaints aren't isolated. I went there with friends to watch soccer, and despite knowing that they were quite busy, one of the worker's attitude could be better. I asked politely if they could switch what they were showing to optimize how people were watching two different games, and instead of being polite the guy replied by calling me selfish. To be honest I hadn't noticed that there was someone watching the second game as he was the only one, and surely I didn't want someone to change something just because of me. However there are ways of explaining that to customers, instead of calling them selfish and making them feel like stupid in front of a bar full of people. About the prices I believe that there are way too inflated for what it is. It's a pity because they sometimes have really nice staff, and the location is perfect. However I don't think that I'll...

Very Disappointed – Treated Badly While Watching the Match

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. My family and I (5 people) came to enjoy the Spain vs France soccer match and each of us ordered a drink. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, a staff member approached us in a very unprofessional and rude manner, telling us to leave because we had only ordered one drink each.

We were calm, respectful, and simply enjoying the game like everyone else, but we were treated as if we were not welcome. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. It completely ruined our evening.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and unfortunately, it will be the last time we visit this place. I do not recommend it if you value being treated with...

Always love to be in Irish pub. Everytime we go in some place we will looking for the irish pub in tht area. This irish pub in Gent locayed just in the right place. Good athmosphere and cozy with friendly weitres, and excellent cervice. In irish pub we used to looking for celtic ciders. In here the taste is different then what we used to remember. Its a little bit sweater, like u drink applesap. Well im still borstfeading so only my hysband that drink and the children have appelsap. They have outside tablle that always full specially when you coming in Ghent festival time. When you coling inside, the man toilet is in the links side and the women is in the right-side. The bat also in the right side. Well defenitly recomended place to go specially if you an celtic cider lover.

The best food we've had in our whole 11 days trip, and that is saying a lot since Belgium has many amazing restaurants. We ordered Delirium blond beer and for lunch the husband had sirloin steak with bernaise sauce, onion rings and fries, I had half ribs with fries, everything comes with a salad too, we don't usually risk eating raw food on trips, but the salads were excellent. My ribs were perfect, but the real star was the steak, so tender and juicy, cooked and seasoned to perfection. We ate outside while looking at the beautiful city, we couldn't have asked for a better time.

Excellent and beautiful Irish Pub at exquisite location in the historic centre of Ghent. The Irish owner is carefully ensuring that the pub and restaurants breathes an authentic Irish spirit and guards the top quality of service, food and drinks. You always find a mixed international audience here facilitating exciting encounters and fascinating discussions. The pub boasts 8 screens some of which gigantic broadcasting whatever sport you can dream of including Gaelic Football. Do not miss this gem when you are in Ghent !
