Yammi Yammi — Restaurant in Ghent

I just left Yammi Yammi, angry and hungry. I've never had such an awful restaurant experience in my life. My 3 friends and I arrived at 19h30, and opted for the all you can eat menu. We left one and a half hours later with empty stomachs at 21h. When we arrived, we ordered a bottle of water which took over 30 minutes to arrive. It only arrive because we went up to the waiters at least twice to ask about the water. Finally, about 40 minutes after arriving, the water eventually came. We had still not received a single dish. Its not like we sat quietly for our food which wasn't coming, we asked repeatedly why we weren't being served and each time the waiters would rudely check the tablet from which we ordered and return it without any assurance that our food was coming and without any apology. The table next to us received 5 rounds of food while we had received none. Eventually we received beans. That's it. At this point, one and a half hour had passed and we decided to leave. When we complained and expressed that we were going to leave because of how frustrated we were, the man at the cash register immediately became defensive and insisted that he was not discriminating against us. This was very upsetting since we had not even hinted at that..He seemed more amused than apologetic and so we left. I'm really disappointed and will not be returning...

The worst client service that I had since I arrived to Ghent. I went with some friends on friday night. After more than one hour and half of waiting we did not get food at all. We asked about 4 times during that time about our order, however they did not put attention to our claims. We ordered the "all you can eat menu", and the table that was next to us received 5 times different meals, at the time that we did not receive nothing. At the end, we decided to leave. The men that was in charge that night, did not apologize at all about the service, he insisted us to stay indicating that we spend a lot of time there already as to leave without eating nothing. However we felt very bad about the situation and we decided to leave. He even said that they were not discriminating to us. Because we told him that the table next to us ordered several times while we continued waiting for one order. We received just one bottle of water, and we paid for it.

There was no compensation for waiting. There was no apologize for the bad service. There was no food after almost two hours in the place. Definitely, I don´t recommend this place and I won´t...
