Universiteit Gent - Botanical Garden — Attraction in Ghent

this was an amazing botanical experience laid out in a grand style back in Victioran times and outside there are signs of some diligent care - new plantings and some pathways. The overall feeling is one of neglect .. especially in the greenhouses. There are examples here of every tree or bush that give us the exotic spices of the far east .. There are marvellous examples of tropical plants forming a jungle in one serre, and in the cooler, subtropical one trees from more temperate climes A lovely...

An exceptional place – personally my favorite spot in the whole city. The entrance is free, which I truly appreciate, since botanical gardens are usually not. There’s also a greenhouse, and not a small one – it’s amazing how much they’ve created in such a compact space. Big respect!

I think it was the best botanic garden I've ever seen. This one had amazing greenhouses with different temperatures and humidity. Very interesting. Lot of trees and plants with tag name on it , it’s look like mini forest in the middle of the city , when you finish your trip and go to train station you can come to this garden , which all variety of trees , plants...
