Outstanding food and a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was recently refurbished and with a very good walk-in shower. (All rooms are upstairs and there is no lift.) Highlight of the stay was the food. Excellent varied choice make with skill and flair. (Reservations essential - the place is deservedly popular with locals.) The breakfast was great, including home-made jams and yoghurt with a wide variety of other items for all tastes. The location was good for Houffalize (a short walk down to the centre of the village) and a great base for touring the area. There was ample free parking just a few yards from the hotel. I had a nice stay at Hotel des Postes. I got a friendly reception and a nice room. The staff speaks French, Flemish (Dutch) and English. They really make you feel at home.

The hotel is next to the Panther Monument from WOII and the Houffalize shops and supermarket are nearby.

I had Diner and Breakfast here and both were really good. A good selection of wines and beers as well.
