Bois de la Cambre Tennis Club — Restaurant in Ixelles - Elsene

The club requires you to pay on-line tennis court reservations in advance. The owner refuses to either change or reimburse a reservation I did a week before 15 March 2020, day of the start of the confinement due to the virus outbreak in Belgium. The club was closed, I could not play. According to the owner, he does not have to change or reimburse the price of the reservation, arguing this or that reason. Then he finally argued that because he had to close the club due to 'force majeure', he does not have to change/reimburse any reservation booked for 15 March. He was clearly being dishonest and very, very rude to a long-term client, as I explained. If they need money or are in difficult times, they could explain this to their clients politely. I give them a star because I have been client for 12 years, eaten there may times, thrown parties, ...etc. Never again. I had never been treated like that before.

Le club vous demande de payer à l'avance les réservations pour les courts de tennis. Le propriétaire refuse de modifier ou de rembourser une réservation de terrain de tennis effectuée une semaine avant le 15 mars 2020, jour du début du confinement en raison de l'épidémie de virus en Belgique. Le club étant fermé le 15 mars, je n'ai pas pu jouer. Selon le propriétaire, il n'est pas obligé de changer ou de rembourser la reservation pour telle ou telle raison, puis il a finalement dit que c'était un cas de «force majeure», et ceci lui donne droit de garder l'argent. Très malhonnête, très grossier. Si le club a besoin d'argent ou est en difficulté, ils pourraient expliquer cela aimablement à leurs clients. Je leur laisse une étoile parce que j'ai été client depuis 12 ans, y mangé plusieurs fois, organisé de fêtes, avec mes amis/famille. Plus jamais. Je n'avais jamais été traité comme...

Yesterday I was playing in the club and was a victim of very bad treatment of bartender that is working in the restaurant of the club. Actually members of the club told me it was possible to eat a meal, however, when I ask politely at the bar older bartender with a beard became very rude and impolite with me. He clearly wanted to show my French was not too good and his behavior was unfortunately racist. I was very sorry to be a victim of this situation especially that I was a guest there for a tennis competition with members of the club. It’s first time I came across such rude behavior on the ground of race in Brussels and this shouldn’t happen especially in the place where fair competition, equality and keeping sport rules...

The worst fillet pur I have ever eaten it was't even a fillet pur. I would not recommend this restaurant at all the prizes are way to high for the low quallity it gives.

Adding to this that the staff is unfriendly and completly ignored our table of 8 for 30min while we repeatedly tried to get their attention but they clearly ignored it again I would not recommend this restaurant. The waiter also spilled some hot water for tea on the back of someone at our table and he didn't even bother to clean it or apologize.
