One of the best ra-men i have ate in Brussels! The portion is big and it was very delicious! One thing that was different from what i used to was pork served in 1 thick piece instead of 3 slices of medium thin pieces. Besids from that there is nothing to say as a remark! This place reminds me of what ra-men restaurant is like. Especially the fact they have limited side dishes and no dessert are very common (i wished they had cha-han/fried rice but i am just being to difficult aa they do have 2 rice dishes). We ordered one yuzu shiyo (original), miso (popular) and veggie ra-men. As a side dish we had gyouza as well but the portion of ram-en was so big that it was not even necessary. But it was just so tasty that we didn't regret ordering it! All of them were just delicious! The staff membera (1 waiter and 2 in charge of cooking) were very friendly. When you enter the restaurant they will say "irasshaimase" which means "welcome" in Japanese. As other visiters have warned you, it's popular so you should go there on time since they don't take any reservation and it's walk in system. During time of corona, they have set plexi-glasses per four tables. This made even more limited of space as they won't allow clients to sit at the opposite side of the cooking area. Either way they definitely respect the spcial distancing and the staffs all wears masks. Also the payment is cashless so remember to pay with your card! We have to scan the barcode to open their Facebook page where you can find their menu. It was quite a challenge as the images were spread across timelines. So little introduction would have been nice unless they would have redirect theor barcode to page album call "menu" or something.

I read about MENMA in a magazine which suggested that place as a must for Ramen. Reviews were also in favour of trying it out. The location is easy to find, and the restaurant itself offers a typical category seating with an open kitchen concept which I like a lot. Personnel is friendly, and the atmosphere, in general, is relaxed. However, I wasn't impressed by the quality of the food. The gyoza was tasty, but the Ramen was rather disappointing. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't meet my expectations.

Gotta say by far this place makes the best tonkotsu ramen I ever tried outside of Japan. Coming from Dusseldorf, the sushi is great, but not the ramen (let's not mention Takumi which is already white washed). The yuzu ramen was beautiful, combination of yuzu and dashi broth complement so well. And Aka ramen is tasty, aroma of spice is picked up. Been back 3 times for 2 years, never disappointed me at all. 👍👍👍

Most authentic ramen you'll find in Belgium. Having lived in Tokyo, I can confidently say that you won't find better ramen than this in Belgium. The yuzu-shio takes a note of the more innovative ramen joints in Tokyo by adding some much-needed variation to a dish that's been presented in Belgium as if it's ingredients have been set in stone. In Japan you'll find a lot of innovation and variation, and Afuri (Ebsiu, Harajuku) is one of the spearheads in changing the mold, in particular with a yuzu-based broth.

Menma (which translates to bamboo-shoot) does a great job bringing an innovative broth with great noodles (somewhat kata / al dente). If I had to have a complaint, then it would be that the meat (chashu) is nothing inspired.

Great place, cannot recommend it...
