The food is good (tried it in Antwerp) but the service is Brussels horrible and unacceptable. We had a table on valentines day with my husband. We have booked a week in advance a table for two. We arrive 5 min before our reservation and the host presents us a small table for four where already a family with a newborn child were seated so you understand the space was very limited between them the stroller and the babys items, there was virtually no space for us to seat. This was not a table for two couples but really a small table where friends who know eachother seat. We ask him if he can make any changes or if there are any small tables for two leaving shortly he told us we can seat outside at 2 degrees but with a heating lamp. I say no and ask if there is any chance we wait and something frees up. He says yes but we have to wait for 20 min. I say okay we wait. And he places us on a small table booth which he says its for four people. But we could wait there. I asked if we could seat on the booth he says no i understand and wait. A lady then comes to take the order and i indicated her the table for two we wanted to sit at as a couple was leaving that moment. She says okay and writes this table in the system as we communicate the order. Then two seconds later the host sits another couple in the table we indicated. The lady tries to solve it but the host says he did it and we just have to accept it. He offers a table literally separated by a colon. We ask for the manager and he says he is not there and we have to deal with the situation. we left the venue hungry on valentines day horrible service if you are to try this food try it in Antwerp, there the service is incredible with very kind accommodating people....
Read moreThe waitress was very nice and welcoming, but that was about it. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was quite disappointing.
The Sichuan cold noodles were particularly disheartening. They were served without any sauce or flavor, in a bowl the size of a fist, with just a speckle of Laoganma on top. This tiny amount barely covered even a tenth of the noodles in the microscopic bowl. The eggplant dan dan noodles also lacked sauce and taste, and for some reason, the eggplants were fried. However, the portion size for the dan dan noodles was more reasonable compared to the Sichuan noodles.
The sweet potato fries were acceptable, but again, the portion size was inadequate, served in the same small bowl as the Sichuan noodles. The dumplings were fine, with not much to comment on.
The most disappointing dish was the bibimbap. While the crispy chicken was acceptable, the rest of the dish was subpar. The kimchi had an unpleasant aftertaste, reminiscent of sewage, and they served a raw egg, presumably meant to be cooked with the rice. However, even after stirring, I was hesitant to eat the rice due to concerns about salmonella.
Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory, with the exception of the pleasant service from the waitress.
By the way, they only accept payment by card, so if you pay by cash, they not be able to give you the change no matter how large the...
Read moredelicious food, but some really disorganised service :( i feel really bad for the waiters as they were understaffed that day but nonetheless were very kind to me ! would recommend regardless !!! EDIT: After coming back, on the 23/06/24, the food was just bad. We ordered a "Party mix" (assortement of dim sum, gyoza)and a wonton soup. The dim sum was falling apart, gyoza wasn't wrapped correctly, the wonton soup was EXTREMELY lemon-y, it was just too strong.
As for the mains, my sister ordered a Bao which was pretty good but my main "General Tso's Beef Rib" was ghastly. Smelt like toes and tasted so bland, the marinade was not good, the meat was also chewy. It's a shame the place fell off because it was so promising in the beginning. If you want some good chinese food, go down the street to "Mili", it's Sichuan, authentic and it doesn't taste like gentrified bland...
