DONT GO HERE! UNFRIENDLY AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've been going to Opinio a couple days in a row now (10+ days) and have spent at least 4/5 euros each time and sometimes numerous of times in a day (they are overpriced but are the only place on the VUB campus where you can buy a coffee (or so I thought), but that is a conversation for another day), I went there to have a meeting and the old white guy with glasses told me to buy something or leave in a very rude manner, while an hour before I bought something but took a take out and came back. Is this how Opinio treats their clients? This man even told me 'I take the train every day so does that mean I shouldn't pay' tell me where the analogy is in this situation please? The customer service is absolutely nowhere to be found, as I see from the reviews, this is not an isolated incident, but one that keeps on repeating itself. I say; go and take a course in customer serivice and how to talk to somebody in a normal manner. For the people that want to go here, I say: Iâve heard there is better coffee at the sportscomplex or the Greek CafĂ© next to colruyt, don't spend...
Read moreDon't ignore the bad reviews! Expensive coffee, me and my friends sat down for a few minutes. Some guy (probably the owner) comes up and rudely and arrogantly states that every person at the table has to order something or they have to leave. My friends put their coats on and put their computers away to show we are going to leave soon, they're just waiting for me to finish my coffee. There were still some free tables, it's not like there was a line of people who wanted to sit. Another worker comes up to us 3 minutes later and also states that everyone has to leave except for me (I can stay, I'm drinking my coffee). I didn't want to literally drink my coffee alone while my friends were standing in the cold rain outside waiting for me so I chugged my coffee and left. Pro tip: this is a CAMPUS, not all students can always all afford to get something, especially at their prices. I recommend you go to Pilar instead, better vibes,...
Read moreRudest owner. People (students!!!) stay to hang out or study for a long period of time. Maybe donât own a cafĂ© if you donât want that to happen, itâs literally on a CAMPUS, what do you expect there to be, other than students. And also making us pay this much for drinks that arenât even THAT good. Also the fact that we HAVE to order something to stay in the cafĂ© is flabbergasting. My friend and I were asked, no, ordered to leave in the rudest manner ever. He asked: âare you guys going to leave?â, We said we were going to leave in a bit, five minutes later the old man comes back with the craziest attitude talking about respect when he had NONE for us. Saying, and I quote: âleave, and never come back!â Like, whatâs going on? Idk if heâs was coked out...
