I can't remember being this positively surprised and satisfied in a long, long time ... We were out with my motorcycle club lookong for a place to have a few drinks and something good to eat for a bunch of us. The place looked nice, so I stepped up to the waitress asking if she could seat +/- 7 people, only half of us would eat, the rest would just have a drink. it was passed 10PM and unfortunately she told us, the kitchen closes at 10PM ... absolutely no problem I said, I totally understand. We were not even 2 meters away, that she came running back, telling us they would make it work, and we were all seated together, we could choose whatever we wanted from the menu, even got some tasty cold soup to share, on the house ... I had the steak & fries which was perfectly cooked. The service was so friendly and cool. The guy is a biker too apparently, they all went out of their way and we had a great evening ! the food was excellent, the staff was excellent, ... I can't do anything but recommend this place 100% !! I for sure am going back there without a doubt on my mind ! Thanks a lot to the whole staff ! you're the best! See you...
Read moreGreat place if you want to experience Belgian/Brussels kitchen. Had a very good experience here. The food was good, the service great, and the atmosphere fantastic 😊
Before getting our food we received two (!) Supplementary appetizers on the house: a great pea soup and a little gratinated chicken dish. Amazing 🤩
I had the Chicon Gratin/witloof in den oven. It was very tasty, just a bit too flour-y and the mashed potatoes were a bit hidden inside. My Company enjoyed the Vol-au-vent. Sauce was thick, which I like, and tasted good!
The home made creme brulee was also great.
On top of that, nice beer selection with some very interesting local suggestions.
It's not super cheap, but neither expensive. You definitely get what you pay for. I don't know if they also serve tapwater, as I forgot to ask.
I will...
Read morePleasant restaurant in a big square. They have an unusual large menu, lots of Belgian dishes. Prices are good, mostly under 20 euros. Service is nice. We took escargots, hachis parmentier and steak d'agneau. They brought potage and tomato bruschetta on the house - true that main dishes took more than 40 minutes to arrive, we were getting sleepy, but they were a real treat, done on the spot. Escargots came into a soup with greens, very much pepper, lots of escargots inside, quite good. The lamb steak, tender, with garlic, sweet sauce, bitter roasted andives and the potatoes dauphinois, very very good. The hachis parmentier was comfort good at its best. Very good place, well worth to...
