De Cambridge — Restaurant in Knokke-Heist

9 pm (not that late come on): an old tired lady tourist enters in the restaurant to ask if we (with her nephew) can still sit to eat. Not even an answer, just a gesture with the hand (like you do to kick off animals). I am wondering how a person can behave like this with an old lady and how can y ou be able to work in the world of hospitality if you can't even be human. I am so upset because I also worked in this field and it happened to me that after a long day people still insist to be served (the old lady didn't insist, she did just make in time to put a feet in the place and she was kicked away), but kindness is the first skill to have. If you are reading you really should be ashamed, you can ruin the reputation of tourist of the places and you surely ruined...

Waited 45min for burger, the table which came after our table got the their order before us, drinks served immediately which was fine, but we got our burgers served 45 min after ordering and reminding. 2 came although we ordered 3. Waiter got the 3rd one quickly however offered more fries while we had already 3 along with our orders.

Waiter was attentive and speaks many languages however need to improve listening and repairing the order skills to ensure orders are correctly taken and who ever comes first served first.

In case of issues they would be able to compensate the guest which didn’t happen.

Burger meat was regular nothing special, kids burger was very thin frozen type of meat which we didn’t give to our kid

We sit outside and the atmosphere was so nice. We ordered 3 hamburger and received it very late almost 45 min waited even the table next to us who came later than us, received their hamburger ! And after all they brought 2 hamburger and again we had to wait for another hamburger. Adult hamburger meat was okay however kids hamburger meat was not good quality it was like cheap frozen ready hamburger sold in the supermarkets. Anyway neither kids nor adult hamburger tasted good. Fries was okay. At the end there was no compensation for us the waiter just...
