Terrible and rude chef ! Told us that the fish of the day is sea bass but at the end they served us cod fish without even informing us. Food is ok, but way too expensive. There are better places in Knokke for that price !

EDIT: If we would have financial problems, we wouldn’t have taken the menu for 70€. It is the principle, you can’t tell us wrong information without even apologizing later. All we got, is getting insulted !!! First, you ask us why we are not speaking your language and second, you are telling us now that we have financial problems ?!

I hope that the people who are reading this will understand that you are just rude ! Reading your comments, I am definitely not the first nor the last who will say this.

And the service is really low quality. Serving us starters without serving us the wine. So, for +100€ per person, we simply expected better service and...

Chef Ignace de Savoye is a grand-chef.

Starter: We had his lobster croquettes — fantastic! First time we ate this. We ate scampi in his own special-ginger-sauce — waaaawwww! Love it!

Main course: We ate European sea-bass with a spinach sauce on a bed of Belgian asparagus — simply a diamond of a dish!

Aside of the perfect doneness of the fish, the chef understood “how” to prepare amazing-sauces and he sided it with a lot of sauce… finally someone whom gets it!

De keuken produceert goede kwaliteit gerechten. En in een zeer hoog tempo vliegt alles de keuken uit. Het is geen restaurant waar je lekker kan genieten en keuvelen. Wij hebben namelijk 3 gerechten in 1 uur naar binnen gewerkt. Er is 1 jonge vrouw in de bediening die als een dolle alles probeert bij te houden, wat haar bijna lukt, tot de bar mevrouw een hele tijd in de keuken verdwijnt en ze ook nog de telefoon moet beantwoorden. Gelukkig komt er een vriendelijke man van de keuken brigade haar te hulp en komt het toch nog goed. Als je snel iets lekkers zou willen eten zit je hier goed. Ben je gevoelig voor sfeer, loop dan door. Er is genoeg te verkrijgen in de buurt wat goedkoper en net zo goed van kwaliteit is, en waar ze wel tijd hebben om je als klant goed te behandelen. Dit is maar een moment opname. Hopelijk loopt alles de rest van het jaar wel op rolletjes. Ik geeft 3.5...
