Habibi Leuven — Restaurant in Leuven

We ate sandwiches here during summer RW22 festival. It was a couple months ago. But now, when I think about this time, I still see Dar Za as the best fast food restaurant in Belgium. We remembered sympathetic owner who was very welcome for all guests. We got free falafel to taste and it was so delicious that we decided to stay. I still can remind the taste of these wraps with just a perfect falafels with a good proportion of vegetables. Additionaly we remembered a tasty tea with a mint leaves. A place to sit for a while, calm down, power up our devices and to chat with the owner. Unfortunately we don't have this restaurant nearby place we live. We would eat there every...

I rarely give 5 stars but this place deserves it.

It was a very delicious authenctic meal , the serving size was also more than enough, the salad was fresh and tasty. I am not a big fan of hummus , but the hummus served with tahini by Habibi restaurant was really good.

It was around 4pm so it was relatively quiet and ambience was perfect. The service was very good and the guy spoke English well enough.

The ambiance of the place was really cozy and nice. The staff was very friendly so I give them both 5 stars. But unfortunately, the food was not as good as I expected. The meat was burnt due to which it tasted bitter. Also, the meat was dry (probably due to the over cooking as it was burnt too). I only went there since I found the google review rating was quite high for this place. I feel bad for rating this place low but it is from my perspective. It might differ...
