Noordoever — Restaurant in Leuven

The buffet food is overcooked. It lost all its texture. The lasagna was not fresh and my soup had plastic bits in it. The staff does not come to the table. Instead you go to them with your plate and they just weight whatever you took on your plate from the buffet. The decor is nice however. But this does not justify the extremely elevated price of 60 euro for one soup and two plates of food. I at least expected a reduction or something else because my soup had plastic in it.

I do think there are people who love the food. Well if you like overcooked...

I've been here twice, once with my girlfriend and the other time with my friends. We all loved not only the concept but also the food. Excellent ambience and also food really worth trying. They have a plethora of vegan options available- definitely an eye opener for those wanting to go vegan and are looking for cuisines. The menu is a blend of many cuisines which is what makes this place stand out. A bit on the pricier side with a pay per weight system, however I still believe that the food is worth every...

Kinda pricy. Lemonade tasted like detergent and costed 4€. Food options werent exactly tasty: cold options were fine but hot options were mid (eg soggy bread, tasteless pasta,...). All in all paid 20€ for a medium plate and drink.

Maybe it is just not my taste since I am not vegan/veggie. I can see why vegan/veggie people would like...
