Chopsticks Wok Away — Restaurant in Mechelen

Been coming here for years and love this place! I usually go for the some (their signature Chopsticks Noodles) but everything I tried so far is great. It's really value for money, as you can have high quality Thai dishes for under 10 euro's. These have been the same owners for as long as I can remember. They are modest, polite and super consistent in serving quality food. It's a rather small venue, you can sit and have your food there but I feel the majority of people do takeaway. About once a month I have some wok here and it is one of the best in the city. The owner is extremely friendly, food is ready quite fast, menu offers something for everybody and the food is good! You pay less than €10 normally for your dish, often even around €7. You can choose between a normal or a large portion, rice or noodles, chicken/shrimp/porc/vegetarian and with extra sauces if you'd like. They also ask how spicy you want the food. Take-away is best as the restaurant is quite small.

The food in the photo tastes better...

I've heard good and bad about this place so I tested it out myself. I like their menu, and some prices are very fair (like the noodle and rice dishes for €5-6), and some prices surprise me. Like 7€ for soup... I had beef soup, which was bland but okay, nothing special. The noodles were bland also, but the chicken sate's were very tasty. I disliked the establishment itself.
