Finally!! This is what the beautiful Mechelen needed! I was here for a citytrip and discovered this new restaurant on the grand place. Such a fantastic food in a beautiful location. Hugely friendly and sympathetic staff! The food is of tremendous quality and this is really recommended for those who like atmosphere in a cozy place with excellent tasty food! They serve food with ingredients they bought from all around the world! Very good lounge music and the owners also have a super unique bohemian clothing store nearby for those who love bohochic stylish cloths! I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, not only the food was a really disappointing (overpriced and small portions) but the worst of all was the staff, they were extremely unfriendly and not professional at all. We felt uncomfortable at all times. In this case the owner made us feel as if we were not welcome since the moment we stepped in, he had some aggressive and unpolite manners, at the end he works front of house and his big ego made made him impossible to act accordingly, as we say here he has a "big neck".

concept invited us in. As three girlfriends, we made the mistake of visiting based solely on the rating without reading the reviews. We ordered three different desserts from what they called the chef's special menu. While they looked visually appealing, the taste was far from satisfying.

The service was also very slow.

The dessert in the photo had an extremely dry cake — the only enjoyable part was the ice cream.

I will never come back again, and I strongly advise others to read the reviews before visiting.
