This was my first meal in LLN, and it was very disappointing. The beef tartare I ordered as a starter had an unpleasant, not-so-fresh smell, so I left more than half of it. The steak I had for the main course was a complete shock — I asked for medium rare, but it was overcooked to at least medium, making it tough and flavorless. I decided to visit because of the many good reviews, but the food was terrible, and even after mentioning it to the staff, they did nothing about it. The total came to €76, and it felt like a complete waste of money. Definitely not recommended!

L’ambiance n’était pas la mĂȘme, il faisait froid car on Ă©tait tout prĂšs de la porte et qu’il faisait froid dehors. Le serveur nous a dit qu’il n’y avait pas de tables qui se libĂ©raient en haut et que les cuisines fermaient 45 minutes aprĂšs. On a donc mangĂ© en bas. On avait une table, c’était dĂ©jĂ  bien mais ce n’était pas le lieu que j’avais dĂ©crit aux personnes qui Ă©taient avec moi. C’est vraiment dommage de ne pas prendre les rĂ©servations le samedi soir car j’ai pris mes dispositions le matin pour avoir une table bien situĂ©e et certaines personnes qui sont venues Ă  l’improviste passaient une meilleure soirĂ©e Ă  l’étage
Je voulais juste faire dĂ©couvrir cette brasserie et ses meilleurs atouts. Le personnel est sympathique, la qualitĂ© du repas est celle d’une bonne brasserie.

The food we ordered might have taken more time than expected as most seats were occupied, but it was amazing, delicious and so fresh. The bread for my burger was freshly baked and the fries were crispy to their soul 😅. The place was quite vibrant. The menu was in french but a couple of waiters could speak English so we managed to order something. Bar is on the first floor. The kitchen was super clean.

I will not come back here anymore!!! By far the worst place to dine in LLN!!! Waited for almost 2 hours for 2 salad orders and not only that the man who brought as our food was in denial that we didn’t waited so long and that everything was just ok. We tried to talk to him and explained him that it isn’t normal that the table next to us received their food before us while we waited for almost 2 hours!!! The table next to us came later on before we did and yet we are at fault?! Also a simple friendly apology NONE GIVEN at all! The waiter gave us an angry look and even asked me to speak in French while I was trying to explain our ordeal and I was trying as best as I can to speak French!!! So RUDE!!! Sorry you are working at a restaurant!!! Meaning u get different people to dine at the restaurant you can at least still try to be friendly and be polite!!! Also LLN is a university meaning again you have some chances that there will be people dinning there with different languages!!! U can at least try and give us some compassionate!!! Should I say this restaurant doesn’t welcome foreigners at all?! Just horrible!!! The food was just ok nothing special that I need to come back to. Our evening was just completely ruined by this restaurant!!! If u are smart don’t bother coming here!!! There are other places in LLN that are worth dining in and there they serve to please their...

We had a great time at La Galoute. We arrived early (around 18:00) to be sure to have a good place. The setting is very original with vintage train equipement and a cotton ceiling with branches and leds to feel like you under a sky full of stars. The food was delicious from the first apperitif to the dessert. The personnel was also very kind and we never had to wait to be served. This was a great experience at a reasonable price. I would recommend it to everyone that wishes to get a great time in Louvain-la-Neuve and avoid the many other so-so restaurants in the city. This is one of the...
