I have never had such a horrible experience like that before... Me and my friends came as Tourists early to the Trainstation and saw this very humble bakery being the only one open. The Lady behind the counter greeted us with " Hello" but since my friend speaks French she ordered our chosen Breakfast in French. The Lady behind the counter saw that we're tourists and began acting as if she didn't understand our French suddenly... Instead of service she started talking to the customer behind us while completely ignoring us. The unwillingness and disrespect is unacceptable. You work at a train station... You are at least expected to service your customers in french. Isn't that your job?? The entitlement of this French speaking person is disgraceful and absolutely abominational. We left immediately. I hope the cashier working Saturday the 26th of July at 7 am is receiving consequences. I am convinced that this cashier only speaks french so i hope this lady visits another country one day where SHE doesn't know the language or speaks with an accent and I truly hope SHE gets treated absolutely like s h i t just to see how it feels for a second.... So yes dear reader : if you're a tourist and not French - don't bother coming here : you won't get served anyway. NEVER...
Read moreI would advise anyone to avoid this places at all costs. Not just this shop but the whole chain. The rudest staff I have ever dealt with, which as I can see on the previous reviews is a common theme. Aggressive, rude and not cut out for a customer service role. She then claimed not to have a knife, which she said with a surly smirk and a knife in her hand. Other customers were nervously laughing at her attitude, and a couple of people walked out The service was that bad I contacted customer services, and they "investigated" the incident, and their conclusion after speaking to the manager (that wasn't there) was that the sales assistant didn't have time (3 seconds maybe) to cut a sandwich in half. They also claimed that maybe it...
Read moreWish i could give 0 stars for the service! Tried to order in french and just got ignored by the lady behind the counter... she continued to talk bad about us not speaking good enough french while literally ignoring us! The audacity is unbelievable, how can you work at a trainstation , where tourists visit daily and be so incompetent and rude? I dont think its a lot to ask to just be a decent human being to strangers coming to YOUR job. Truly hope you visit another country where you dont speak the language perfectly and get treated like this just to see how it feels.
So for any tourists: its not worth it, just get a snack from the vending machine, probably tastes...
