La Selva 🇮🇹 — Restaurant in Schaerbeek - Schaarbeek

Terrible restaurant. Twice we asked for sparkling San Pellegrino. They definitely have it, but both times we were brought a different brand which they obviously make more profit from (the first time wasn't even sparkling), and take the top off before you see it (so it's probably tap water). Amusingly, they have the descriptions of the Napolitana and Siciliana pizza mixed up on the menus, so if you order the one that claims to have capers and anchovies you will get the one with onions, even though I pointed this out to the waiter, who clearly couldn't care less that it's wrong on the menu. Needless to say, I got the opposite of what I explained I wanted, but seeing as we'd waited so long for it there was no possibility of getting another. You would think that something claiming to be an "aubergine ravioli" (a speciality of the house!) would be a ravioli made from aubergines, but no, it's some sort of tinned ravioli with some sliced aubergines in the sauce. Every single dish, pizza or pasta is salted to a ridiculous level, to disguise the lack of taste. Avoid like the plague. Bizarrely they seem to have lots of repeat customers...

We have been going to La Selva for many years. The food is consistently good and their wine selection is excellent. The staff are friendly and always with a smile. It’s a place for families, couples and single diners. Je n'ai jamais rien eu à redire sur ce restaurant jusqu'à ce soir. Je m'y suis rendue seule pour un petit repas avec ma fille autiste. Nous passons notre commande et lorsque les plats arrivent, ce n'est pas du tout le plat que j'avais commandé qu'on me sert. Je fais la remarque au serveur qui me dit on peut le changer mais ça va prendre du temps, étant donné que ma fille était servie aussi, je n'ai pas fait d'histoire et je mange le plat qu'on me sert qui je dois l'admettre était très bon aussi. Je commande à nouveau un ice tea pour ma fille et là le même serveur lui apporte un coca. Là ma fille (vu son handicap et son sans filtre) lui dit mais c'est pas pour moi ça et le serveur lui répond je sais que c'est pas pour toi et repart remettre le coca discrètement dans le frigo pour lui apporter son Ice Tea demandé préalablement. Après ça ce n'est plus le même serveur qui nous a servies et lorsque nous sommes parties, alors qu'il était près de la porte, ne nous a même pas dit au revoir. En dessert j'ai pris une glace moka où là servie sans même un peu de chantilly. Et sans compter aussi les regards que j'ai vraiment senti sur notre...
