Melya - Griekse brasserie — Restaurant in Tervuren

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The bread with extras set the stage nicely. For my entree, I tried the Feta et Scampis, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The combination of feta and scampis was a burst of flavors. Moving on to the main course, the Kokinisto was a standout with its tender meat and delightful potato puree. My girlfriend ordered the Giouvetsi, and she was equally impressed with the well-cooked orzo and quality meat. I'd happily rate this place 10/10 and look forward to...

Great food and environment. However, what really stands out is the incredible kindness. Last night we arrived late and not only did they still serve us as they were preparing to close. They told us we could finish our drinks on their beautiful terrace even after they left. "Just please close the chain behind you."

This type of hospitality is all but gone in the world, but at Melya it is their main organizing principle and for that reason I will be forever...

Moussaka- still frozen in the middle. The meat was not fresh, tasted questionably, most probably a frozen product. Tzatziki - industrial, tasked like gelatine. Fries were undercooked and from low-quality potatoes, just bad. Very long waiting time.
